It's the time of the gold rush, and Chang has come with his grandfather to Califolnia from China. Chang's dream is to own a horse of his own. With luck... and a little gold dust... taht wish just might come true.


       Chang is a young Chinese boy living with his grandpa in California during the Gold Rush. He has no friends, so he desires a white pony that will be his friend. After befriending a miner named Big Pete, Chang's chances of getting a pony become real, and he may actually gain a friend or two after all!           This story is interesting.

Christmas in prague

     In a house in Oxford three people are having breakfast-Carpl, her husband Jan, and his father Josef. They are talking about Prague, because Carol wants them all to go there for Christmas. Josef wasa born in Prague, but he left his home city when he was a young man. He is an old man now, and he would like to see Prague again before he dies. But he is afraid. He still remembers another Christmas in Prague, many long years ago- a Christmas that changed his life for ever...       I was surprised first 2 sentences. It was written that "Do you know everything about your family? Does your family know everything about yoou?" I think that this sentence attract reader's interest.
