The Daydreamer

Daisy doesn't have any money, buut she has lot's of imaginatioa. When a farmer offers a gold coin, she dreams of all the things she could buy... and then disaster strikes!


Today I read The Daydreamer.
This story is one of Aesop's Fables.
I had never read this book's story.
This is because different versions of story are told all around the world!
In India, the daydreamer is a poor man!
In Russia, the daydreamer is a thief who dreams of selling stolen cucumbers!!
I know India's version.

Christmas in prague

     In a house in Oxford three people are having breakfast-Carpl, her husband Jan, and his father Josef. They are talking about Prague, because Carol wants them all to go there for Christmas. Josef wasa born in Prague, but he left his home city when he was a young man. He is an old man now, and he would like to see Prague again before he dies. But he is afraid. He still remembers another Christmas in Prague, many long years ago- a Christmas that changed his life for ever...       I was surprised first 2 sentences. It was written that "Do you know everything about your family? Does your family know everything about yoou?" I think that this sentence attract reader's interest.
